Carson Valley Golf Course, at 1027 Riverview Drive in Gardnerville, has
18 holes for a par 71 on 6,020 yards. It has more trees than any other
golf course in Carson Valley. Carson Valley, near the Carson River, also
has a pro shop, practice facilities, and a restaurant.
Eagle Valley East
and West Courses
The Eagle Valley East and West Courses both have 18 holes with a par 72.
The courses have links designed with quick greens. There are desert plants
and winds from Carson Valley’s foothills that create challenges
on each hole. Eagle Valley also has a driving range, chipping and putting
greens, lessons, a pro shop, and a bar and restaurant. Golfers of all
skill levels will enjoy playing on both courses, which are located at
3999 Centennial Park Drive in Carson City.
Empire Ranch Golf
Course
The
Empire Ranch Golf Course’s three nine-hole courses are near the
Carson River. The championship courses have lakes, wetlands, elevated
tees, fast greens, and lush fairways. Golfers will also see ducks and
other fowl at Empire Ranch because it is located on 250 acres of environmentally
protected lands. Empire Ranch Golf Course, at 1429 Empire Ranch Road in
Carson City, also provides a driving range, a pro shop, and a bar and
restaurant.
Silver Oak Golf
Course
Golfers at Silver Oak Golf Course enjoy scenic views of the Sierra Nevada
Mountains while they’re on the links. Most of the course is level,
but there are hills that challenge players. Silver Oaks contains 18 holes
that have a par 71. It is located at 1251 Country Club Drive in Carson
City.
Sunridge Golf Club
Sunridge Golf Club’s course elevations challenge visiting golfers.
The course has fast greens and hillside and stadium-style holes. Its fairways
are on a sagebrush hillside. Sunridge, at 1000 Long Drive in Carson City,
has 18 holes with a par 72.
